Erik Hansen

Meet Erik, the founder and owner of Hansen Design and Construction. He started HDC ten years ago with the initial project of building a home for his dad, and since then it has evolved into the business it is now, offering historic restoration and custom builds across Northwest Arkansas. Not only is Erik personally passionate about craftsmanship, but he also works hard to create a space where others can practice the various time-honored trades that go into crafting a home.

Jake Rice

Jake Rice is HDC's Chief Financial Officer. Jake started working with Erik in 2016 helping out with the business side of things while also working in the field as a carpenter. He's recently retired as a carpenter and now works solely as the company's CFO. Jake is dedicated to HDC's mission to create individualized homes that stand out, not only because of the consideration put into the design, but also the careful quality of the craftsmanship.

Kelly Stuckey-Hansen

Meet Kelly, the Interior Designer here at HDC. In 2006, Kelly received her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from the University of Arkansas.  Rather than trying to emulate a specific aesthetic style, she seeks to create purposeful spaces that complement daily life - integrating personal items, heirlooms, and a keen focus on color. ​Whether it's a cozy reading nook in a child's bedroom or a spacious dining area fostering community and hospitality, Kelly prioritizes designs that truly serve the client, steering clear of rooms that lack life despite being filled with furniture.

Julio Flores

Julio joined HDC a decade ago, starting as a carpenter on the inaugural project, constructing Erik's dad's house. With extensive skills spanning every aspect of home building, from foundation to finish, Julio is a versatile craftsman. Above all, he dedicates his talents to serving God and his family, embodying a commitment to excellence as a seasoned professional.

Carlos Reyes

Carlos joined HDC as a carpenter in 2022, having worked in construction for most of his life. His favorite part of the renovation process is tile-work, where he enjoys creating patterns that not only enhance the aesthetics of a room but also satisfy the client.

Eric Keller

Meet Eric, the concrete specialist here at HDC, who has been an integral part of the team for three years. While specializing in concrete, Eric embraces the opportunity to engage in all of the various trades involved in home construction. His motivation stems from crafting exceptional work that wows clients. 

Isaiah Hale

Isaiah joined HDC in the summer of 2023, starting with no prior experience in construction. However, he was warmly welcomed by HDC veterans who taught him everything he knows, with precise woodworking being his favorite aspect. Additionally, Isaiah contributes by creating content for HDC's social media pages.
